To provide our services, we use data to:

Help us manage your connection experience and access to our Wi-Fi networks.
To meet our legal obligations. We use it to:

Prevent illegal activities like piracy, harassment and fraud.

To exercise our legitimate interests. This is when we use data for a reason which is in your and/or our interest, and which doesn't involve overriding your privacy rights. We use it to:

  • Authenticate your device to our Wi-Fi network, or the network of an affiliated partner.
  • Market products and services within our website and service.

With your permission. We use it to:

  • Subscribe you to marketing communications from the venue providing the Wi-Fi network you're connecting to - if you request to. You can always unsubscribe from receiving these if you want to, by email.

Maintain & Improve our Service
We use data to manage your connection experience and access to our Wi-Fi networks.

Develop New Products and Offerings
We use data to track, analyse and improve the services we give we give to you and other customers.

Provide Personalised Experiences, including Content and Ads
To give you relevant content that you might be interested in, we may track the actions you take while using our services to make a more informed decision about what to show you.

Measure Performance
Delivering a fast, efficient service is important to what we think makes a great service. We may monitor the bandwidth that your device uses to investigate whether we can deliver more, or we may time how long it takes for your device to load a page on our site, in order to optimise it's performance and deliver it even faster.

Communicate with You
If you explicitly sign up to receive notifications about new updates and changes to the service, we may store your details to use for this purpose. We may also use these details to get in touch with you if we suspect that there has been an incident that affects you or your use of our services.

Protect our Customers, the Public and CollectivWorks
We work hard to ensure that everyone has a safe, enjoyable experience while using our services. If we suspect that someone is abusing our service, or using it to detract from the experience of someone else, we will take the appropriate action to remedy the situation. We monitor connection data on our Wi-Fi network for this purpose.

Keeping your information safe

We currently store the data we collect within the European Economic Area ('EEA'). People who work for us, or our suppliers and partners outside the EEA might also require to process your data, therefore we might transfer your data outside the EEA.

We may only share data with organisations and countries that:

  • The European Commission say have adequate data protection.
  • We've agreed standard data protection clauses with.

We keep your data as long as you're using our services, and for up to 50 months after that. In some scenarios, like in cases of abuse, we may keep data longer if we need to and/or the law says we have to.

You have a right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you, or to get a copy of it.
  • Make us correct inaccurate data.
